Ajay Devgn, born on April 2, 1969, is a well-known Indian actor, filmmaker, and producer working primarily in Hindi cinema. Famed as a prominent actors, he has appeared in over 100 films and received several honors, including 4 National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri, India's prestigious civilian award. Devgn made his acting debut with the romantic-action film *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a commercial success that made him an overnight star. He subsequently featured in successful action films such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic hits like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999). His critically acclaimed performance in *Zakhm* (1998) earned him a prestigious National Award. Throughout the 2000s, Devgn gave highly appreciated performances in movies like *Company* (2002), *The Legend of Bhagat Singh* (2002), and *Omkara* (2006).
